Gail Anderson, aside from being an author and teacher, is one of the top designers in the world, and the first African American recipient of the National Design Award for Lifetime Achievement.

In preparation for her upcoming lecture at The Washington Post, Seals was commissioned to create a series of social media banners and signage for the event.

Visual Identity

Beyond being a world renowned designer, teacher, and author, Gail is also a collector. From stamps to bottle caps and salt and pepper shakers to art, Gail collects. You can see this idea of collecting and preserving in much of her work, and that’s what Seals strived to achieve in this identity and the collateral.
